Burger King’s New Profound Dining Experience

Burger King Introduces the Steakhouse Burger

At Burger King, you can now enjoy a a steakhouse dining experience with the new Loaded Steakhouse Burger and the Steakhouse Burger made with 100% certified Australian premium Angus Beef.  As to complement the burgers, Burger King has introduced an all-new dessert creation, the Funnel Cake Sticks.  All for a limited time from 2 Dec 2010 to 12 Jan 2011.

It was my pleasure to be invited to the media launch of the BK Steakhouse Burger at their new Esplanade Xchange outlet to witness the launch of their new Steakhouse Burgers.  I’m also very interested to see how profound can the dining experience be.

From the red carpet to the interior makeover of the Burger King outlet, I can feel the grand surprise which awaits everyone.  The “Throne of profoundness” was placed right in the middle for the arrival of the “king of profoundness”.

Before the king make his grand appearance, Mr. Eric Foo, General Manager of Burger King Singapore show up with a funky style as he gave an opening speech and also a teaser of what to expect.

Let’s welcome the king!!  It’s none other than our local rapper, artiste, DJ & host, Sheikh Haikel who have been a loyal supporter of Burger King all these years.  He has also launched his third album titled “101010” with the track “BK Still Steady” dedicated to promote the Steakhouse Burgers.

Sheikh Haikel shares on his experience with Burger King all these years and he is proud to say that he has been a big eater at Burger King.

It is about time he perform the song “BK Still Steady” which is a remix of the track “Still Steady” in his album, 101010.  You can find out how to download the exclusive MP3 track, “BK Still Steady” and the “I Want My Burger King” ringtone by Sheikh Haikel on Burger King’s Facebook page.

Sheikh Haikel will be making a special appearance at BK ION Orchard to give away his specially autographed limited edition of “The Profound Album” and poster to the first 25 customers who purchase any Steakhouse Burger Meal while queuing on the special carpet on the 7th Dec 2010, starting 1pm.

Unveiling the BK Loaded Steakhouse Burger and the Steakhouse Burger on the golden platter.

It’s time to take a bite into it to mark the official launch of BK’s Steakhouse Burgers!

The Funnel Cake Sticks is a popular carnival food consumed in the United States at sporting events and festivals but Burger King has introduced the snacking version of it here in Singapore specially for this Christmas season.  In each box, it comes with 9 bite-size dough sticks fried to crispy, golden perfection, and dusted with icing sugar to sweeten every bite.  Price: Ala carte: $2.95/ $1.95 add-on with any value meal purchase.

Unwrapping the paper to reveal the BK Loaded Steakhouse Burger is sure exciting!

Burger King’s Loaded Steakhouse Burger comes with a 4” corn-dusted premium bakery bun, flame-grilled premium Angus Beef Patty (4oz), A.1 thick and hearty steak sauce, crispy onions, 2 slices of American cheese, 4 1/2 slices of Turkey bacon and loaded with creamy mashed potato spread.  Price: Ala carte: $6.95 / Meal: $8.95.

The Steakhouse Burger will be the same except for the Turkey bacon and creamy mashed potato spread.  It will be replaced with creamy mayonnaise, 2 slices of crunchy lettuce and red ripe tomatoes instead.  Price: Ala carte: $5.95/ Meal: $7.95.

I personally tried the BK Loaded Steakhouse Burger and I would say that it is surely not for the faint-hearted.  The portion is huge and its loaded with creamy mashed potato spread for those with a enormous appetite.  If you like more of what’s in the package of the burger, you can always have it your way at Burger King!  Just check with the friendly staffs at any Burger King counter to customize your burger.

Do look out for what’s happening in the MRT and Burger King outlets from the 7th Dec 2010.  I’m sure you will be awed by the profoundness of Burger King.  Find out more about the BK Steakhouse Burger promotions by visiting their website and their Facebook page.
