More Than Your Usual Cup of Bubble Tea

These days, there are countless new bubble tea stores joining in the heated battle of milk tea and pearls in shopping malls and even in the heartlands.  What about the concrete jungle in the Central Business District?  Office executives here would also love a perfectly cool cup of bubble tea to chill in the heat of the day.

If you have a sweet tooth like me, you will have to check out the Choco Frost Mint ($2.80) which is somehow similar to the Milo Dinosaur drink we have at coffee shops.  I am a fan of After 8’s mint chocolate and this Choco Frost Mint taste so similar to it that I have fallen in love with this drink.  Topped with mash-mellows and chocolate powder, this drink is not for the faint hearted due to its high sugar content!

This Ichigo Milk ($2.00) is an excellent drink if you like something sweet yet not so sinful.  It’s basically milk blended with fresh strawberries till it’s light and smooth with a bit of froth.  I would love this drink as it isn’t too sweet and the bits of fresh strawberries just got me addicted to it.

For those who are health conscious, this Cucumber Green Tea ($2.70) will be just the right kind of drink for you.  The cool cucumber and thirst quenching green tea will be your perfect friend to help you to chill and relax.  I would highly recommend this drink to go with the Aloe Vera topping for something more natural.

Do you love to have something light but to satisfy your sweet tooth at the same time?  This Bubble Gum Tea ($2.80) will be your perfect cup of drink as it uses high quality bubble gum syrup which has the taste of the old school pink bubble gum.  I find this drink very interesting as it brings the flavours of the yesteryears into the bubble tea culture today.

This Masala Milk Tea ($2.10) totally blew my mind.  No, you’re not seeing things nor there’s any typo error.  This milk tea really contains the mild fragrance of the masala spice.  The flavour of the masala lingers lightly in the mouth after drinking the milk tea.  It doesn’t taste too overwhelming or spicy as what I expected it to be.  Even if you’re not an adventurous person, you should also give this Masala Milk Tea a try.

Feeling hungry?  Tree.d has delicious home-made waffle treats for your.  In the Waffle Spreads series ($2.20-$2.50), there are 6 toppings to choose from such as sugar icing, butter with maple syrup and blueberry.  If you’re an ice-cream lover, you may like to go for the Waffle Ice-creams ($3.80) with flavours such as strawberry and chocolate chip.  It’s definitely worth having a bite as the waffles are very nicely done with the crispy outer layer and soft, fluffy inner layer.

Best of all, you can customize your drinks from the 8 toppings to choose from such as the fantastic Honey Coated Pearls, Han Tian (Caramel), Nata De Coco, 3Q Mixed Jelly, Aloe Vera, Lychee & Mango Popping Baba!!  If you can’t decide which to have, why not top an additional topping at only $0.20 per scoop?

If you love fresh fruits toppings instead, you can choose from Strawberry or Mango at $0.50 per serving.

If the good drinks and food have not tempted you to to visit Tree.d, here’s another good reason.  They have a rewards card system where you can get a stamp for every $2 spent.  You can redeem free toppings and cash rebates with it.

Overall, I feel that this place is really worth patronizing as it’s really value for money with such a diverse and unique menu of drinks in the CBD area.
