Well, in actual fact, at Shokudo Japanese Coffee House, there are so many varieties of tea time delights to choose from. The menu ranges from salads, burgers, rosti, sushi rolls, desserts, waffles to the ever popular Japanese snacks. Of course, you can’t miss out Japanese coffee and tea to complete your afternoon tea time gathering.
Over here, they aim to serve homely Japanese cuisine with a healthier taste. This is definitely good news for those are worried about their waistlines from having in-between meal bites. From their many varieties of delicious food, drinks and desserts on their menu, people patronize Shokudo Japanese Coffee House for meals too!
Rochor Beancurd House: Irresistible silky smooth beancurd
I was at Geylang Road, a well known red-light district in Singapore looking for some smooth, savoury, soft and tender beancurd to eat. Please don’t get me wrong. I don’t mean the kind of beancurd where they come out walking at night but those made of soybean.
It was a very hot afternoon and I came out from Paya Lebar MRT station looking around for this very famous Rochor Beancurd House well known for… erm, their beancurd and so I decided to get down to check it out for myself. Located just a stone’s throw away which is about a 10 minutes walk from the MRT station, I found the legendary Rochor Beancurd House located along a row of storehouses with other eateries and warehouses.
