Yesterday, I attended the Häagen-Dazs Singapore cocktail menu launch party held at Clarke Quay Central Fountain.  Singapore is the first country in Asia to introduce their brand new cocktail menu and we were invited to try.

The cocktail menu is available exclusively at Häagen-Dazs’ Clarke Quay Café outlet.   It consists of 5 unique concoctions which includes their signature ice-cream cocktails, sorbet-blended cocktails and liqueur coffee.

My Creation: Home Cooked Rosti with Pork Sausage & Brownie with Ice-cream

It was very fun to have Amanda over at my place yesterday and she wanted me to cook something for her.  Initially, I didn’t know what I wanted to cook.  After some thoughts, I took a deep breath and said Rosti as I wanted to make it a success this time and to overcome my failure the previous time which ended up becoming potato croquettes.

We met at Anchorpoint shopping center and went to the Cold Storage to get the ingredients for our Rosti.  US russet burbank potatos, pork sausage from Pan Pacific hotel and a tub of vanilla ice-cream.  Happily, we check out and went up my place to prepare the ingredients.
