If you happen to pass by this pub, you will be mesmerize by the interior design of the stone walls which creates a cosy and warm atmosphere. Last Saturday, Asian Food Channel (AFC) hosted a tea party for an exclusive group of food bloggers at their AFC Studio Cooking School located at the 7th floor of Orchard Central. As Valentine’s Day was a couple of days away, we got our hands dirty and had some fun baking heart-shaped sugar cookies!

There’s actually a little Jakarta town in the heart of Orchard Road. I’m not exactly referring to Lucky Plaza if you’re thinking of that. It’s actually Jtown Cafe which is pretty well known as Cafe Kota Jakarta among the Indonesian community here in Singapore although it’s been around for less than a year.
Conveniently tucked at the basement 1 of Midpoint Orchard shopping center (just across the road from 313 Somerset), you will be able to find Jtown Cafe. Upon entering the basement of the humble looking Midpoint Orchard, you will be welcomed with a cozy, warm and comfortable ambiance at Jtown Cafe.

I am back at Everything With Fries Takeout (EwF) once again at Orchard Central. Previously, I was here for a food tasting session to try out their burgers, French fries and some their desserts. However, this time I was here for an impromptu visit to check out a new item on their menu.
That’s right! If you have been to EwF at Orchard Central or have heard it from them on Twitter recently, you might have noticed the Corn Nuggets on the menu which was introduced in mid August. It’s quite a common homemade snack in the US but it’s the first time that I’ve heard of it here in Singapore.
Authentic, Affordable and Quality Japanese
When someone mention Japanese restaurant to you, I’m pretty sure the first thing that comes into your mind will be sushi, sashimi and yakitori. However, at Ootoya Japanese restaurant, they serve up healthy, authentic, and value for money home-cook style Japanese food.
Tucked on the 8th level of Orchard Central, Ootoya Japanese restaurant stands out the most compared to the other restaurants. That’s because it is the only restaurant with a crowd waiting outside for tables. While looking at the menu outside of this restaurant, you would have notice something unique. The Japanese believe in eating healthy and in moderation so that explains the amount of calories stated beside each dish on the menu.

A new kid on the block, Ice Rockz is located at the newly built *Scape right beside Orchard Cineleisure. With the interior brightly lighted up in neon blue, you can’t miss this eye catching ice cube looking kiosk.
