I am back at Everything With Fries Takeout (EwF) once again at Orchard Central. Previously, I was here for a food tasting session to try out their burgers, French fries and some their desserts.  However, this time I was here for an impromptu visit to check out a new item on their menu.

That’s right!  If you have been to EwF at Orchard Central or have heard it from them on Twitter recently, you might have noticed the Corn Nuggets on the menu which was introduced in mid August.  It’s quite a common homemade snack in the US but it’s the first time that I’ve heard of it here in Singapore.

Authentic, Affordable and Quality Japanese

When someone mention Japanese restaurant to you, I’m pretty sure the first thing that comes into your mind will be sushi, sashimi and yakitori.  However, at Ootoya Japanese restaurant, they serve up healthy, authentic, and value for money home-cook style Japanese food.

Tucked on the 8th level of Orchard Central, Ootoya Japanese restaurant stands out the most compared to the other restaurants.  That’s because it is the only restaurant with a crowd waiting outside for tables.  While looking at the menu outside of this restaurant, you would have notice something unique.  The Japanese believe in eating healthy and in moderation so that explains the amount of calories stated beside each dish on the menu.
